2020 Skills Courses

2020 has been a busy year for the DORC Training Team. Despite losing a number of months to COVID-19 restrictions, we managed to conduct 8 skills courses in amongst our other events.

This year’s courses consisted of  2 x free 4 week Fun “D” Mentals, 3 x free 1/2 day Introduction to Women’s MTB, 1 x 1/2 day Braking and Cornering, 1 x 1/2 day Negotiating Trail Features and 1 x 1/2 day Drops and Jumps. All of these courses filled in record time. Sorry if you missed out on any courses this year but you did need to be quick to register.

We want to give a big thank you to all our course participants. We love spending the time helping you all feel safer and more comfortable and confident out on the trails.

Next year will see extra instructors joining our current 2 person team. Woohoo !! This should give us the ability to add a larger variety of courses and also cater for the intermediate and above riders.
