Track Name: Pine Forest
The Pine Forest Trails are Darwin’s easiest and most family oriented Trails. They are generally very easy trails with few challenging obstacles or gradients. There’s also something for the more experienced riders with a wonderful flow through the trees. Popular trails to hold DORC races on, there’s plenty of challenge in flat-cornering on the pea-gravel surface. Once you get going, these trails provide a testing cardio workout.
Location: Tracks are located on the both sides of Howard Spring Road.
Parking: Plenty of locations for parking, depending on your choice of entry point. Consider parking at Stow Road intersection, or a bit further up for the Old Pine Forest entrance.
Difficulty: Easy.
Surface: Hard packed with loose pea gravel over top.
