Night Ride New Pine Forest
Every Saturday afternoon DORC host a social mountain bike ride in different locations around the Darwin area. The aim of these rides is to get all level riders together to enjoy our sport and trails in a friendly supportive environment. These rides can help familiarise you with our local trail networks. They are also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people.
Night riders check your lights and charge your kit. it’s time to do it in the dark! This Saturday the 18th of Jun ’22 we will be holding a night ride at the New Pine Forest starting from the Stow Rd entrance. The start time for this ride will be a bit later than normal so please be there at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start.
Please ensure that you have good quality lights of at least 1000 lumens brightness and the battery will power your lights for the duration of the ride. A helmet light is also great (if you have one) for riding the trails at night.
It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have a current Auscycling Licence, this is to make sure we follow the Auscycling club and insurance requirements. If you are a non member and would like to join us just follow the link and take advantage of the AusCycling four week free trial membership. click here.
Post ride rehydration is a byo affair and we encourage riders to get together after the ride.
