All you MTB pilots – come fly through our course?
We recommend Intermediate riders and above take part due to technical sections. Up to 2 Hours to roll as many “Detonator” raids as possible past the bombing shelters before time is called. Do as many or as few laps as you wish – ride Solo or with a Co-Pilot.
One of DORC’s fiestiest events of the year is being held at Charles Darwin National Park on Saturday 17th May. Race start will be from the top car park. Plate collection 2.45pm, Rolling start at 3.30pm. Two hours to roll as many raids past the bombing shelters before time is called at 1hr 50mins for the last pass.
If you haven’t raced with DORC yet, it’s a lot of fun. Do as many or as few laps as you wish – ride in pairs or go it alone. You don’t have to ride for the whole two hours. Check out our race details page or ask some of our other members at a social ride to give you an idea what our events are about. Our focus is on participation and fun.

We encourage non-participants to come and support those racing in the event. The course is quite short, so it should be easy to get around to different areas for good viewpoints (and photo opportunities). Post-race, we are heading over to One Mile Brewery for well-earned refreshments – see you there!
There won’t be a BBQ for this event. However there will be drinks for sale.
