Full Moon Night Ride, Wednesday June 11th

Charge your lights! Wednesday 11th of June DORC will host a night ride under the full moon (mostly) Starting at Gateway Carpark we will rode out to the Spokes Track take a look at the  Old Pine Forest and returning via the cycle track back to Gateway. Riders will meet in the carpark at Gateway opposite the Landmark
Be there by 5:45pm for a 6:00 start. On completion of the ride everyone is welcome to return to the Landmark for drinks.
Night riders please ensure that you have good quality lights of at least 1000 lumens brightness and a battery that will power your lights for the duration of the ride. A helmet light is also great (if you have one) for riding the trails at night.

It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have a current AusCycling Licence, this is to make sure we follow the AusCycling club and insurance requirements. The ride will be at an easy pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks to regroup and catch your breath on the way around.

You will need a mtb in good working order, an Australian Standards helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves, lights as mentioned above and a minimum of 2 litres of water will be required. Riders please be self-sufficient with water, spare tube, pump and tyre levers, etc.
