International Women’s Day 2026
International Women’s Day is on 8th March 2026. To celebrate this day, DORC will be holding a women’s social ride at the New Pine Forest, Howard Springs on Sunday 8th March 2026. All women are welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed and easy-paced, social meander through the pine forest followed by Coffee n’ Cake at Beans ‘n More, Wicked NRG, Yarrawonga. It’s a “come and try” event with DORC supporting and encouraging inclusivity. All riders are welcome. Is there a better way to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning?

The meeting point for this ride will be at the dirt carpark on Howard Springs Rd on the right hand side of the road, almost opposite the Howard Springs Reserve entry. Please park in the car parking area. Do not park on the roadside. Arrive at 7:45am for an 8:00am start.

The ride will be at an easy pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks along the way to regroup.
You will need a mtb in good working order, an Aust Standards helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Riders please be self-sufficient with water, spare tube, pump and tyre levers, etc.
