Are you interested in Mountain Biking? Can you borrow a bike and come have a try? Or do you already have a bike but aren’t sure how to get the most out of riding it? Are you wanting to develop your skills and confidence?
This course is being offered FREE to riders 16 years and over. There will be a maximum of 8 spots available with a minimum of 3 in order to run the course. To take up this offer, you should be a DORC member. However there is also the option to sign up for a AusCycling Free 4 Week Trial. Click here for a free trial membership.

Time: 8.30am – 11.30am (may finish earlier depending on weather)
Location: New Pine Forest, Howard Springs
The Basic Introduction to MTB course will cover such topics as:
- Bike Set Up
- Body Position
- Using Gears
- Mounting/Dismounting
- Braking
- Cornering
You will need a mountain bike in working order, an Australian standards helmet, covered shoes, gloves and water. Snacks will help keep you going too.
