Half Day Skills Course, Braking and Cornering

28th Aug 2021

Old Pine Forest, Howard Springs

Do you want to ride smoother, faster, with more flow, control and confidence?

The Darwin Off Road Cyclists will be conducting a half day course aimed at improving your riding, making you safer, smoother and faster on the trails. This will also increase the fun of your rides.

This course will be run by qualified PMBIA and AusCycling instructors. During the session you will learn about:

Body position on your bike, controlled braking, trail scanning and cornering techniques.

You will learn how to use your body postion to get more from your bike, use your brakes more effectively and efficiently, scan the trail ahead, be prepared and get more flow, change direction and corner with more traction, control and confidence.

Riders of all levels are invited to attend this course. It doesn’t matter if you have been riding for 10 weeks or 10 years, we could all do with some refinement of our skills.

If you wish to attend this course you must be over 18 years of age and be a member of DORC and AusCycling. This is for insurance purposes.  Click here for membership options. Click here for the four week free trial option.

This session will cost $50 per person and all proceeds go to DORC. Our DORC instructors are volunteers and are not paid to deliver these courses.

Places are limited to 8 riders.
