Enduro in its most basic definition is a type of race where the downhills are timed (the fun stuff) and the uphills are not. Riders are timed in stages that are primarily downhill, with neutral “transfer” stages in between. The lowest overall time after all race stages wins.
This event will be held over two days, with the lowest overall combined time taking the win.
Day 1-23/6/2018
Lee Point trails. 7 race stages in total. Meet at 330pm, Racing starts 4 PM Sharp, across the road from the Caravan park on Lee Point road. Tracy Village after for a meal and drinks.
Day 2-30/6/2018
Berrimah Hill. 6 race stages in total. Meet at 330pm behind the fire station on Berrimah road, racing starts at 4 PM sharp. Presentations will be held at the One Mile Brewery in Winnellie. They generally have a food vendor parked there on Saturday evenings.
If you want an idea of what the race stages will be, come along to the social rides leading up to the race.
Lee Point dates are 5th, 7th, 12th and 14th of June. Rides start all dates at 545 pm across from the caravan park.
Berrimah dates will be 19th, 21st, 26th and 28th of June. Rides start all dates at 545 pm from behind the fire station on Berrimah road.
Positions are strictly limited for this race 20 positions per category. Open men’s (Expert) and Sports men’s. Open Women’s (come on ladies) and Juniors (12-18). Juniors can race up a category please contact organiser if you’d like to do this.
