Cycle Zone Into the Twilight Zone race
| Another year done and dusted for the iconic New Pine Forest day-night race. A great big thank you to the guys at Cycle Zone (at 6/41 Cavenagh Street Darwin City) for their sponsorship of the event. We’d also like to thank Hirepower Winnellie for the use of their Light tower – a bonus after the sun went down and people were still racing.
There were plenty of smiling, dusty faces circulating while some chose to soak up the relaxed racing atmosphere, stopping between laps for a chat and a cool drink. Those that pushed through non-stop, grabbed the occasional killer python from Bridget as they came through the pits. It was great to see so many families and kids coming along to support riders. It was also encouraging to see so many ladies racing. Thanks again to all the volunteers – we can’t do it without you. If you’ve had a good time, tell a friend.
