First Social Ride for 2023
It’s 2023! lets get out and ride bikes! Our first ride for 2023 will be our cancelled NYE ride reloaded. So come along and have a ride, have a snag and a bevvie. This ride will be weather dependant. If it looks like a torrential downpour then we will let you know (by 4:00pm on the day) what’s happening via our social media. No one wants to cook snags in the rain.

This Saturday Sat 7th Jan 2023 the ride will be held at the Old Shed Carpark. This at the bottom of the hill on the right hand side of Howard Springs Road opposite the entrance to the Howard Springs Nature Reserve. We will meet in the cleared area just inside the Pine Forest entrance. Please arrive at 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start.
It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have current Auscycling membership, this is to ensure that DORC riders meet the AusCycling requirements for social activities. The ride will be at an easy to moderate pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks to regroup and catch your breath on the way around.
You will need a mtb in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and a minimum or 2 litres of water will be required. Riders please be self-sufficient with water, spare tube, pump and tyre levers, etc.
