Ok so we’ve had the NT MTB Master Plan where we had input into the whole of the NT. Well now we need to focus down a little on to one region in our great big backyard, Litchfield (check it out it’s bigger than you think).
The NT Planning Commission is interested to hear from Litchfield residence, local businesses and interest groups (Mountain Bikers) to comment on the Litchfield Subregional Land Use Plan. This Plan encompasses the Pine Forest Trails and the Commission is keen to receive comments regarding the use of this parcel of land and a whole lot more before the end of November.
So if you are interested in preserving what we currently have or you have an idea on where we can expand our network of trails to please visit the NT Planning Commission page for more information and contact details to have input into this process.
Alternatively for those that can make it, a Community Workshop will be run on Wed the 18 Nov in Howard Springs at 6pm to discuss the plan and to gather input from the community.
