Skills Training package
Some of you will be well into your training activities for that big event this year. You will be putting a lot of time and energy into the fitness aspect of your riding to achieve your goals.
How much time have you put into your skills training? Have you thought about increasing your skill level for that big event?
Like fitness training, skill acquisition takes time to develop. You need to be focusing on your skills just as much as the fitness. With developed skills you can ride smoother, faster, easier, with more confidence and less energy expenditure.
With this in mind, DORC would like to offer a two part skills lesson package to assist you with your development.
Part 1. Body position, balance, braking and cornering;
Part 2. Wheel lifts and negotiating trail features.
These sessions will go for approx 4 hrs on two seperate days. Part one will be delivered 24th Feb with a few weeks to practice before part two is delivered 24th Mar. This will allow plenty of time for practice and development of these skills, particularly if you are thinking of heading to Alice soon 🙂
The cost of this course will be $80 per person for the two sessions. Normally, these courses would be held separately and cost $50 each. DORC skills training is delivered by MTBA and PMBI qualified instructors. To attend this course you will need to be a DORC/MTBA member.
All proceeds from skills training go to DORC.
Places are limited to 8 riders. All skills levels will be catered for during this course as each session will be tailored to your individual skill level.
