Have you ever wanted to ride those Charlie “D” trails with more confidence, control and the ability to negotiate those tricky trail features and feel safer on your bike at the same time?
Here is an oportunity to upgrade your mtb skills.
DORC will be conducting a skills course for MTB riders who are interested in riding smoother, faster, safer and negotiating trail features with more control.
This course will be run by our qualified Level 2 PMBIA (Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association) instructor. This course will teach you how to negotiate trail features smoother, safer and with more control.
You will learn how to:

use your body position and balance to get more from your bike,

lift the front/back wheels, and

negotiate trail features (rocks, rock gardens, rollovers, small drops and step ups, etc).

This course is aimed at any rider (begineer to advanced) who would like to improve their riding ability and negotiate trail features with confidence and finesse. Your riding is guaranteed to improve after attending one of our courses.
Riders wishing to attend this course must be over 18 years of age.
This session will cost $50 per person with all proceeds going to DORC. Our instructors are volunteers and recieve no renumeration.
You do not need to be a member of AusCycling to attend this course but it is prefered that you are a member of Darwin Off Road Cyclists.
Places are limited to 6 riders.
