Night Ride
It’s been a while since DORC has hosted a night ride. So here we go nightriders, don’t forget to check your lights and charge your kit. Even though there is a full moon approaching you won’t want to be half way around the New Pine Forest and have your batteries let you down.
This Wed 30 Sep ’20 there will be a night ride in the New Pine Forest, Howard Springs. We will start from the Old Shed Carpark on Howard Springs Rd. This is located on the right hand side of Howard Springs Rd opposite the entry to the Howard Springs Nature Reserve. Please arrive at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start.
This ride will be in and around the trails in the New Pine Forest at Howard Springs. The duration will be about 1.5 hours and will be at an easy pace with regular stops along the way.
Post ride rehydration will be byo in the carpark on completion of the ride.
As part of our COVID-19 plan we are required to collect names and phone numbers of everyone participating in our events. These will be used for contact tracing in the unlikely event that an outbreak does occur. We also encourage everyone to download and install the COVID Safe app.
