This Wednesday evening, 9th Oct ’19, DORC will be hosting a night ride at the New Pine Forest Howard Springs. Everybody is welcome. This will be an easy paced no drop ride. Besides all the usual gear, you will need a set of good quality lights with a minimum output of 700 lumens. A red tail light,set to solid (no flashing) will also be required.
The meeting point for this ride is the Old Shed Carpark on the right hand side of Howard Springs Rd Just before you go around the right hand bend. This is almost opposite the entry to the Howard Springs Reserve.

The ride will be at an easy pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks along the way to regroup.
You will need a mtb in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. A good set of lights, front should be a minimum of 700 lumens and the rear light should be red and set to solid. Also bring along things you may need to keep you going. For example spare tube, tools, pump, etc.

You do not need to be a DORC/MTBA member to participate in these rides. However, for insurance purposes, you will need proof of membership with DORC/MTBA or be prepared to sign a waiver.
