Saturday 17th August ’24 DORC will host a night ride in the New Pine Forest, Howard Springs. We will be celebrating NT Seniors, their longevity (and perseverance with Mountain Biking). All riders are welcome to come along in support. This ride will be starting from the Central Park area (inside New Pine Forest – see map below). Please be there by 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. There will be nibbles and beers to follow. You will need to be a minimum of 18 years old to take part on this ride.
Night riders please ensure that you have good quality lights of at least 1000 lumens brightness and a battery that will power your lights for the duration of the ride. A helmet light is also great (if you have one) for riding the trails at night.
It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have a current AusCycling Licence – this is to make sure we follow the AusCycling club and insurance requirements. If you are a non-member and would like to join us just follow the link and take advantage of the AusCycling four week free trial membership: click here. Non-members also have the choice to sign a waiver, in order to ride.
