NT Senior’s Month Social Ride
Due to changes with AusCycling policy, DORC is no longer able to offer non members the option of signing an insurance waiver to join this ride. Therefore, you must be a member of AusCycling to participate. DORC apologises for any inconvience this may cause. We are working to resolve this issue.
This month the Northern Territory celebrates it’s senior citizens. DORC will host a social ride for those of us who have reached the grand age of 50+. All over 50’s are welcome. So, grab your bike and your gear, head on down to the Club Tropical Resort carpark on Sunday the 15th August ’21. Please arrive at 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start.
We will have a bit of a cruise around the Lee Point trails and head back to the resort for some post ride rehydration. While the ride is for those 50+, younger friends and partners can join us at Club Tropical afterwards to celebrate Senior’s Month with a drink and a feed.

The ride will be at an easy pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks along the way to regroup.
You will need a mtb in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Riders please be self-sufficient with water, spare tube, pump and tyre levers, etc.
As part of our COVID-19 plan we are required to collect names and phone numbers of everyone participating in our events. These will be used for contact tracing in the unlikely event that an outbreak does occur. We also encourage everyone to download and install the COVID Safe app.
