Trail Maintenance Day

Early this week a storm ripped through the pine forest trail network at Howard Springs. The New Pine Forest has trees down and debris on the trails. We need your assistance to get the trails back into riding condition. All of our usual trail fairies are out with injuries and are either incapable of assisting or have a greatly reduced capacity. Therefore, we need you! Please come along to assist in cleaning up the trails that we all share.

at the Old Shed Carpark, Howard Springs 

(on the right hand side of Howard Springs Road, opposite the Howard Springs Reserve turnoff)

If you have tools, bring them along. If not, just bring yourself. Tools might include rakes, hand saws, chainsaw.  You will also need boots, gloves, hat and protective clothing (particularly if a chainsaw is involved). Please bring plenty of water, sun protection and insect protection.

Many hands make light work. Let’s get these trails back up and running for our holiday rides.
