Casuarina Coastal Reserve

Track Name: Casuarina Coastal Reserve/Lee Point.

Lee Point offers a variety of tracks, from fast flowing tracks to the south (Playground and Roller Coaster), technical tracks through the middle (Blair Witch) as well as mini downhill runs to the north for the more gravity inclined riders.

Location: Tracks are located in Casuarina Coastal Reserve, between Royal Darwin Hospital and Lee Point.
Distance: Varied
Direction: Most tracks are dual direction, however the main singletracks are designed to be ridden in a downhill direction
Difficulty: All levels from easy to Hard
Surface: Variety of terrain, including singletrack, 4wd track, hills and shared trails (with walkers).

Warning: Check tidal conditions, the mangrove sections may be impassable at high tide. Please also be aware walkers may be on the tracks, and be careful of oncoming traffic whilst riding the ‘super highway’ walking track.

  • The area is prone to mosquitoes and biting insects.  The severity of the insects is dependent upon resting water and tide cycles.  It is recommended that you take insect repellent.  For more information, please check  Saltmarsh Mosquito Pest Calendar 2019
