New Pine Forest from Stow Rd
Every Saturday afternoon DORC host a social mountain bike ride in different locations around the Darwin area. The aim of these rides is to get all level riders together to enjoy our sport and trails in a friendly supportive environment. These rides can help familiarise you with our local trail networks. They are also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people.
A big welcome back to all our riders. We hope that you had a merry christmas with family and friends and DORC would like to wish you all a very happy new year. As we kick off this year there will be some small changes implemented to the format of the social rides. In our endevour to cater for all riders we will be grading the social rides in future. They will be clearly listed as Easy, intermediate or advanced rides. To see how this may impact on your ability to attend future social rides click here.
This social ride on Sat 9th Jan ’21 will be an EASY ride on some of the trails in the New Pine Forest. The meeting point for this ride will be at the intersection of Stow Rd and Howard Springs Rd. Please arrive at 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start.
As part of our COVID-19 plan we are required to collect names and phone numbers of everyone participating in our events. These will be used for contact tracing in the unlikely event that an outbreak does occur. We also encourage everyone to download and install the COVID Safe app.
