Trail Maintenance CDNP

This Saturday 11th Jun ’22 DORC will be holding trail maintenance at Charles Darwin National Park slashing the speargrass back and clearing the trails. We will meet at the front gate at 7:20am for a 7:30am start.

You will need to bring a grass rake (the club will have some rakes available to use if you don’t have one), pruning shears, gloves, bug spray and sunscreen, good shoes for walking and working in, min 2L of water and a hat. The club will provide 2 line trimmers for volunteers to use with fuel but if you would like to bring your own line trimmer and fuel you are more than welcome.

Sunscreen, bug spray and a cooler with cold water to top up off will be supplied.
