Trail workshop – by Trailscapes
Hi all, there will be a Trail Maintenance Day this Sunday the 26th, at Charles Darwin National Park
Have you always wondered what it takes to:
· Maintain trails
· Make them more sustainable
· The skill needed
· What a good trail design looks like
· Why it’s important.
Well wonder no more, Trailscapes will be providing as part of their Contract for the Trail network upgrade and rationalisation of Charles Darwin NP and Casuarina Coastal Reserve (Lee Point) a one day Trail Workshop, this will be focused on the trails at CDNP and will be hands on.
Please meet at the front gate at 9:00 for a 9:30 start, DORC will have water and drinks on hand and will have limited tools available, so it might pay to bring your own Shovel, Rake, Pick axe etc. This is a fantastic opportunity and it would be good to see a few of you down there, any questions call Keogh on 0428821360
