Urban Adventure Ride Darwin CBD
Every Saturday afternoon DORC host a social mountain bike ride in different locations around the Darwin area. The aim of these rides is to get all level riders together to enjoy our sport and trails in a friendly supportive environment. These rides can help familiarise you with our local trail networks. They are also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people.
This Saturday 12th Oct 2024 come join us in an Urban Adventure ride in Darwin city and ride some of the features available around the CBD. This will be an easy paced ride with plenty of stops to chat. The meeting point for this ride will be at Goyder Park near the corner of Jervois Rd and Kitchener Dr (refer to Google maps if unsure). Please arrive at 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start.
All riders are welcome but it is the responsibility of the rider to ensure that they have a current Auscycling Licence (this is to make sure we follow the Auscycling club and insurance requirements). If you are a non member and would like to join us you can sign the recreational day waiver, please see ride leader for waiver.

The ride will be at an easy pace and will be approx 1.5 hours in duration. There will be plenty of breaks to regroup and catch your breath on the way around.
You will need a mtb in good working order, an Australian Standards helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and a minimum or 2 litres of water will be required. Riders please be self-sufficient with water, spare tube, pump and tyre levers, etc.
